　　阿可是一个游戏公司的CEO兼游戏设计师，最近一直在设计一款即将上市的游戏《魔界通缉》，这款游戏为玩家提供了更加真实的体验，在最后的一次玩家测试时，一位玩家差点因为游戏丢了性命，且一直未查明原因。压力很大的阿可开始生活中经常出现幻觉。同时眼睛也出了问题。游戏设计如期完成，期间阿可一直阻止公司召开游戏发布会，希望能查清游戏的安全性，但被一个神秘人阻挠。游戏发布会如期召开，引起粉丝疯狂捧场，神秘人在发布会上也代替了阿可的发言。游戏上线后阿可发现游戏开始慢慢控制玩家，同时发生了越来越多的不可思议的事情。当阿可想删除游戏源代码时，所有玩家对阿可开始了真正的通缉……

　　2070年，世界因核战争而遭受毁灭性打击，传统能源彻底消失，地球变成一片废墟。在莫斯科的地堡实验室，一种名为“生命之源”的新能源崭露头角。这种能源通过从人体中提取能量来维持地球运转，防止地壳运动引发更多灾难。然而，这种能源的代价是每隔一段时间进行一场名为“死亡之舞”的比赛，选出淘汰者，其生命能量将供给地堡的委员会和幸存者，以延续他们的寿命。在这样一个背景下，生活在城市底层的年轻人科斯特亚（伊万·日瓦金 Ivan Zhvakin 饰）被强行带到了地堡的竞技场参加比赛。在竞技场上，他结识了另一位选手安娜（卢克娅·伊利亚申科 Lukerya Ilyashenko 饰），并且对她产生了感情。然而，科斯特亚很快发现，安娜的身份不简单，她是地堡仪式祭司的女儿。
